Tunstall delays wedding for festivals

KT Tunstall has revealed that she is delaying her wedding plans because she wants to play the summer festivals.

The singer, who announced the engagement to her backing band drummer Luke Bullen last year, wants to marry in the sunshine, but admits she isn't willing to sacrifice playing the festival season.

She is quoted as saying: "There are so many festivals this summer and we both love playing live so we want to find a way that we don't have to miss any live events and have a wedding date while there is still a chance of good weather.

"And we don't want to be rushing away from our service to get on stage. That leaves us with a very small window, a few dates in September or if we're lucky with the weather, early October."

Tunstall has confirmed she will be playing the main stage at this year's Isle of Wight Festival in June.
