'Scrubs' star welcomes baby girl

Scrubs star John C. McGinley and wife Nichole Kessler have welcomed their first child.

Daughter Billie Grace was born in a birthing tub at the couple's Malibu home on Saturday.

The actor told People: "Nichole was a mountain lion, a warrior in the birthing process. The birth was astonishing! Mum and baby girl are 100%."

McGinley - who plays Dr Perry Cox in the NBC comedy - also has 10-year-old son Max from a previous relationship. He married Kessler, a yoga instructor, in April 2007 after two years of dating.
