Spears' father: 'You are going to die'

Britney Spears' father has warned his daughter that she is going to die after she refuses further psychiatric help.

Spears was allowed out of UCLA Medical Centre 11 days early on Wednesday after a court found no "just cause" to keep her in.

However, her parents now fear a "tragedy" and have begged the court to reconsider its decision.

Jamie Spears, the singer's father, drove her to a private clinic, but according to The Sun, the popstar said: "I want my life back. There’s no way I’m going back in."

Britney then drove off in a Mercedes and threw out a hired security guard, before trying to check into the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The popstar's credit cards were initially declined but, according to US reports, she was eventually allowed a room on the second floor and joined her British boyfriend Adnan Ghalib for a drink.

Britney's father confronted her at the hotel, which reportedly prompted a shouting match between the pair.

"Britney’s dad begged her to go back to hospital. He told her he feared she would die if she didn’t get medical help," said a source.

"She said she was so angry that they made her go to hospital. She screamed, 'You can’t control me'."
