Court documents released yesterday also showed that Grossman has been instructed to "turn over all documents, records, and assets relating to Britney Spears."
The decision is believed to have been made by Superior Court commissioner Reva Goetz at a closed hearing which took place on Thursday.
Britney's dad Jamie Spears was granted temporary control over the singer's affairs last week. This arrangement will be in place until at least February 14.
The troubled star's family members have also tried to end her association with her friend Sam Lutfi by filing a restraining order against him. Lutfi has been accused of drugging the singer in an attempt to control her life.
Spears was released from hospital earlier this week, against the wishes of the psychiatrist who was treating her. Her parents have said that they are "deeply concerned" about the decision.
