The troubled singer was originally denied entry to the States after officials at London's US Embassy allegedly found traces of an illegal drug in her blood stream.
Winehouse was said to be "gutted" by the original decision as she had planned to perform live at the Grammys in Los Angeles tomorrow. However, organisers then announced plans for her to appear via satellite link from London.
Despite Amy receiving permission to enter the US, her team have decided to stick with the satellite link idea due to "timing complications".
Her spokesman said: "Following further discussions involving the US Embassy in London and officials in the United States, Amy Winehouse has been granted a visa to enter the United States of America.
"Unfortunately, due to the logistics involved and timing complications, Amy will not be travelling to the US to perform at the Grammys in person. However, she will be performing via satellite broadcast as previously announced yesterday."
