Here's the quick-fix Digital Spy rundown of the weekend's top tales...
Paul McCartney and Heather Mills' simmering row has grown all the more bitter in recent days in preparation for their imminent court showdown. Presumably favouring the ex-Beatle in the divorce proceedings, a man claimed he was seeing Mills while she and Sir Paul were together. Sources suggest Mills, meanwhile, will stick by her allegations that Sir Paul was violent. Watch this space for developments (more).
Could all that divorce nastiness be to come for the Coles? If reports are to be believed Cheryl and Ashley are still not talking. And in recent days the singer locked herself in her room, smashed her mobile then, just to be sure of hearing no more kiss-and-tells with the husband, jetted off to Thailand with her Girls Aloud pals (more).
It is still domestic bliss for some, though. It seems Charlotte Church will soon be playing young mum for the nation with a return to her Channel 4 chat show. Baby Ruby will be left in the care of well-behaved husband Gavin Henson, presumably, as Church works on a third series for the summer (more).
Soap fans were granted an off-screen blast from the past this weekend with Anita Dobson (Angie Watts) passing comment on her old EastEnders other half Leslie Grantham (Dirty Den). After being gifted a "pension" in returning to Walford, she said, it was a shame he blew it by performing sex acts, and sending dirty pictures over internet, in his dressing room. "He was a silly boy," observed Dobson (more).
Finally, the latest of the Spears clan to step into the limelight, father Jamie, has won another battle in his apparent attempt to get her back on track. Courts have told father Spears - who has temporary control of the troubled daughter's affairs - that he can also sack her business manager Howard Grossman (more).
