Tom Jones denies insuring chest hair

Sir Tom Jones has denied rumours that he insured his chest hair for £3.5 million.

The singer was reported to have approached London insurance house Lloyd's in an attempt to safeguard his curly black locks.

A source told The Mirror: "Even at the grand old age of 67, the ladies love his hip-thrusting moves and catching a sneaky peek of his famously rugged chest hair."

However, Jones laughed off the claims in a post on his website, writing: "No such policy exists or has ever been considered. We assume this is just a bit of fun."
