Richards' dad moves in for show

Denise Richards' dad is moving in with her during the filming of her new reality TV show.

Irvin Richards will help the actress find a new man and provide comfort as she comes to terms with the death of her mother from cancer last year.

The E! network series will focus on Denise's attempts to get her life as a working single mum "back on track".

She said: "I come with a lot of baggage... He wants to find me a husband... There's gotta be some guys out there... Irv's in charge this time.

"My dad's going to be a big part of the show. [It's about] my father moving into my chaos and he and I helping each other pick up the pieces."

A judge granted permission for her two children to be included in the programme after ex-husband Charlie Sheen objected to the plans.
