Watts 'furious at female paparazzi'

Naomi Watts has revealed that she was furious when female paparazzi tried to take pictures of her while she was pregnant.

The actress needed police protection last August when she was ambushed by photographers at a grocery store in LA.

She said she is usually able to take media intrusion in her stride but could not hide her anger when she was hounded by women.

She told Glamour: "When I was pregnant, I really picked on the female paparazzi because I felt like they should have had a conscience.

"I once chased one. That doesn't normally happen because I'm not a confrontational person. But they can really hit your trip switch. You feel so invaded."

Watts gave birth to son Alexander last July, her first child with fiancé Liev Schreiber.
