Garraway hurt by Ross' Du Beke gag

Jonathan Ross has upset Kate Garraway by joking about her relationship with professional dancer Anton Du Beke.

Garraway revealed earlier this week that she is planning to sue the Sunday Mirror after it published a report claiming she had cheated on her husband Derek Draper with the dancer.

The GMTV presenter said that she was "hurt" and "upset" by the rumours.

Ross commented on the news during a speech at Bruce Forsyth's 80th birthday tribute.

The chat show host commented: "What’s all this rubbish about Anton shagging Kate Garraway? He only gave her a hug. Mind you, he hugged my wife and now she’s pregnant!"

A source said: "It was quite an uneasy moment. Kate didn’t look too happy."
