Janet Jackson has said that she is in no hurry to wed her current boyfriend Jermaine Dupri because of her past experiences with failed marriages.
The singer claimed that lots of people have told her to tie the knot with Dupri, but she insists that they are happy just as partners.
She told The Insider: "So many people were putting pressure on Jermaine to get married and then they started pressuring me.
"Everybody would ask us about it - even friends. I just think if it's meant to happen, it will happen. I like where we are, and I'm happy where I am."
She has been dating the record producer since 2002.
Talking about her failed relationships in the past, she added: "I've done it twice before. I'm afraid I might be a jinx. I might be allergic to marriage!"
Jackson was married to James DeBarge between 1984-85 and Rene Elizondo Jr. between 1986-1999.
