Britney Spears' dad has retained control of his daughter's affairs until March 10.
Jamie Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet were originally granted temporary conservatorship on February 1 and have now had the period extended twice.
LA Superior Court commissioner Reva Goetz named Spears' brother Bryan, 30, and a law firm as temporary co-trustees of a trust the popstar set up in 2004 for her day-to-day expenses.
He said at yesterday's hearing: "Immediate access to the trust's liquid assets is necessary to pay for Britney's security, and to pay for her medicine, food, other day-to-day expenses, and for psychiatric and other essential medical services."
Jamie and Wallet were also given additional rights to handle her taxes.
The commissioner was told that lawyers have still not been able to serve the restraining order taken out against Spears' friend Sam Lutfi two weeks ago, despite spending more than 200 hours trying to track him down.
Jamie's attorney Jerry Cohen said: "We staked out his residence at the hospital. We did many things we do not want to discuss right now. We have information he is intentionally avoiding service."
