Gallagher spends less than £10K on wedding

Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton spent less than £10,000 on their secret wedding celebrations.

The couple tied the knot at London's Westminster Register Office on Valentine's Day, before moving on to the nearby Landmark Hotel for a party with their close family and friends.

Landmark Hotel's Presidential Suite cost £2,000 to hire out for the day. It was the most expensive part of the celebrations.

"It shows you don't really have to go crazy with the money on your wedding day to enjoy yourself," a source told the Daily Star. "Liam's never been one to brag about cash because he knows what it's like to live on a pittance. He had nothing before Oasis made it big.

"Their wedding was about making a long-term relationship official and they did that. It wasn't about splashing the cash."
