Winehouse's husband in drugs collapse

Amy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil collapsed after taking a drugs overdose in prison.

Blake, who is facing charges of GBH and attempting to pervert the course of justice, received emergency medical attention after having a violent reaction to an unknown substance. Six other prisoners were also involved and needed treatment to save their lives.

"This was a close call, but he might not be so lucky next time," a source told the News of the World. "If he carries on taking so many drugs, he'll end up dead before long."

A Prison Service spokesman confirmed: "A small number of prisoners were treated in health care following the consumption of an unknown substance."

Last week, Amy's father Mitch gave his blessing to her relationship with Blake, but warned that he wanted the couple to be "drugs-free".
