Speaking at the Berlin Film Festival, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger offered the troubled star their advice on mixing drugs with music.
Jagger, who was arrested for possession of cannabis in 1967, commented: "When we were experimenting with drugs, little was known about the effects. In our time, there were no rehab centres – anyway, I didn’t know about them.
"I’m worried she might die if she goes down the road she has taken."
Guitarist and former heroin addict Richards added: "She should get her act together. Apart from that, I have got nothing to say to the b****."
The band's former manager Andrew Oldham said: "People might think this is rich coming from them. We took drugs but when it interfered with work we said goodbye."
The veteran rockers are in Berlin promoting the new Martin Scorsese documentary about the group Shine A Light.
