Kathleen Turner 'misses sex'

Kathleen Turner has revealed that she is missing sex after being celibate for two years.

The actress said she has been without a partner since splitting with second husband Jay Weiss in 2006.

She told US chatshow host Larry King: "My husband and I separated two years ago and I guess the divorce became final in December. It's odd - well, maybe it's not odd - but we're terrific friends. We have lunch together and he's still my best friend. But it's also been two years since I've had sex and I'm getting to miss that."

The 53-year-old, who became a sex symbol after starring in 1981 film Body Heat, insisted that she has only had two lovers in her life, adding: "It's hard for people to believe I'm so naive or inexperienced. I met my husband and that was that."

It was recently reported that actor Nicolas Cage is suing Turner over comments she made about him in her autobiography Send Yourself Roses.
