Cox weight loss sparks concern

Courteney Cox has reportedly sparked concern after dropping two dress sizes.

According to Grazia, the 43-year-old has fallen from a UK size 10 to a six in the last few months.

It is rumoured that the stress of producing and starring in US TV show Dirt has taken its toll.

The ABC programme regularly pulls in only five million viewers and the second season was cut to seven episodes after filming stopped due to the writers' strike.

Friends have also suggested that the star's concern about aging and plans to have another child have added to her worries, while her marriage to David Arquette is rumoured to be under strain.

Cox denied that she is suffering from an eating disorder, although she admitted that she had been underweight while filming hit show Friends.

She said: "There was a period when I was really, really thin. I thought I looked great - in retrospect, I didn't."

The actress recently hit out at photographers who constantly invade her family's privacy.
