Cheryl snubs Ashley to party at the Brits

Cheryl Cole will postpone talks on the future of her marriage to go partying at the Brit Awards.

The singer flies into the UK today after holidaying with bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, but will avoid meeting up with her husband Ashley Cole.

Footballer Cole is reported to have cheated on the Girls Aloud singer with hairdresser Aimee Walton and glamour model Brooke Healy, throwing their marriage into crisis.

Girls Aloud are nominated in the Best Group category and a source told The Mirror that Cole wants to ignore her marriage woes and toast the band's success.

"Cheryl is in a great mood after her holiday, and she can't wait to meet up with the rest of the band and have some fun," the source revealed.

"This is the first time that Girls Aloud have been nominated for a Brit and she wants to celebrate that - not think about all the doom and gloom back home."
