Lopez in hospital preparing for birth?

Jennifer Lopez has reportedly checked into hospital in preparation for the birth of her twins.

According to the New York Post, the singer and her husband Marc Anthony are now occupying a room at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, New York.

The couple have apparently moved into a room that has "been sitting empty for two weeks".

A patient claims to have overheard hospital staff saying "J.Lo is here" on Wednesday morning.

Anthony confirmed rumours that the couple were expecting twins on Latino TV earlier this month.

It has been reported that the first pictures of Lopez's children could be worth nearly $6 million.
