Friends of Cheryl Cole have called her "a fool" following reports that the singer is back with her husband Ashley.
The football star, who was accused last month of cheating on Cheryl twice in 2007, has allegedly told friends that he's won the Girls Aloud star back.
A pal of the popstar told The Sun: "Cheryl is close to taking Ashley back. She’s a bloody fool for even considering it, but she doesn’t care about that.
"He’s told her he’s a changed man, and she’s either completely blind to his lies or genuinely believes it.
"Cheryl has been away from home for weeks and needed to pick up clean clothes and see her dogs. She didn’t plan to stay but Ashley convinced her they needed time together to talk.
"She slept in a separate part of the house from Ashley. He is already telling people he’s won her back. All of her friends think she’s nuts - but she loves the man and can’t see a future without him."
