Britney Spears will soon be able to see her children again after reaching an agreement with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The troubled singer's visitation rights were suspended in January in the aftermath of a dramatic custody dispute at her home, which led to Britney being hospitalised. Earlier this week, she failed to regain the right to see her two sons.

However, Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan has now told People magazine that Spears will be granted access to Sean Preston and Jayden James "very soon".

"We're pleased that ... the process of reinstating the children's mother as a participant in their lives can commence," he confirmed.

Britney's manager Sam Lutfi was recently issued with a restraining order, which ordered him to stay at least 250 metres away from the star at all times.
