Mariah Carey has bought a $5 million holiday home to celebrate the release of her new album, E=MC2.
The singer has splashed out on a four-bedroom, five-bathroom house on Windermere Island in the Bahamas - the exclusive Caribbean destination where Diana, Princess of Wales once holidayed.
Carey is planning to add a recording studio to the property, which consists of four detached buildings connected by marble walkways and terraces.
Carey's main residence is in Manhattan, New York City. Last year it was reported that she was searching for properties in London's upmarket Knightsbridge district.
