Friend supports Barrymore romance

Drew Barrymore's friend and production partner Nancy Junvonen has said that she supports the actress's romance with Justin Long.

Junvonen claimed the Charlie's Angels star's new lover was "a departure" from past relationships.

She said: "I do feel she is finally with a good person. She is with someone who adores her and doesn't put her down on any level...And that is such a departure."

Barrymore has been married twice to comedian Tom Green and bar owner Jeremy Thomas. More recently she dated The Strokes drummer Fab Moretti.

Talking about her relationship with Long, Barrymore told Vogue he was a "good person" that made her so happy her "cheeks hurt".

Barrymore and Long were involved in a bar room fight in January after a fellow patron photographed them without permission.
