Dixon: 'I blamed myself for marriage split'

Alesha Dixon has revealed that she blamed herself for her husband's affair with Javine Hylton.

The Strictly Come Dancing winner split with rapper MC Harvey in November 2006 when he was found to be cheating with her friend and fellow singer.

Hylton gave birth to his daughter Angel last week and the couple are expected to marry later this year.

Dixon told Company: "It was like my whole world had just collapsed around me. I'm a big believer in karma, and I felt I must have done something to invite it into my life. I tried to take the blame."

But she insisted that she had forgiven Harvey for his affair, saying: "I'm over it."

Harvey has blamed his ex-wife's reluctance to have children for the breakdown of their marriage.
