Ja Rule blocked from posting bail

A judge has told rapper Ja Rule he can't post bail for co-defendants in a gun possession case.
State Supreme Court Justice Micki Scherer said Ja Rule would "put himself in the position of perhaps controlling the outcome of the case" if he posted bail for his co-defendants.
"I think the potential for it is a big problem," Scherer added.
Ja Rule's lawyer said the defence will come up with separate bail packages for the other two co-defendants.
The rapper, along with Dennis Cherry and Mohamed Gamal, was stopped for speeding in New York last summer and arrested for gun possession.
