Spears pregnancy rumours denied

Britney Spears is not expecting a baby with paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, friends claim.

Star magazine reported that Ghalib had been telling friends that the singer was pregnant with his child.

However, an insider said Spears's protruding stomach was down to her medication, telling The Sun: "Britney has put on weight because the doctors have switched her prescription."

The couple sparked speculation that they were expecting a child when they were photographed looking at pregnancy tests in LA last month.

Ghalib later claimed that Spears had thought she was pregnant, although she insisted that the test was “for a friend”.
