Lee Ryan in court on assault charges

Lee Ryan will appear in court today faced with assault charges.

The former Blue star was arrested on New Year's Eve for attacking a taxi driver in Oxted after a car accident.

He was later charged with assault and will appear at Redhill Magistrates' Court.

The singer, who walked out on reality show Hell's Kitchen after arguing with chef Marco Pierre White, is reportedly looking to open a restaurant in Los Angeles.
