Lavigne criticises attention-seeking stars

The singer insisted that she would feel "lame" and "cheesy" if she followed in their footsteps by tipping off photographers about her whereabouts.
"I think a lot of the Hollywood girls, I won't get into names, are obsessed with the paparazzi," Avril explained. "They call them or go to the Ivy [restaurant] so they'll be seen and followed for the rest of the day.
"I won't go shopping on Robertson Boulevard in LA, because it's so cheesy. I would feel lame. It's embarrassing."
Lavigne recently branded paparazzi photographers as "f***ing stalkers" for their treatment of Britney Spears.
