Depp gives Hasselhoff barber's chair gift

Johnny Depp has given David Hasselhoff the barber's chair from his movie Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street.

The actor made the gesture after hearing of Hasselhoff's struggle to retrieve his own antique chair from the home of ex-wife Pamela Bach, reports the Daily Star.

The couple divorced in 2006 but have spent months battling over custody of their teenage daughters and financial arrangements.

Hasselhoff won a court order last week which allowed him to reclaim an ivory tusk and other possessions from the former family home in LA.

However, he is said to be thrilled with the replacement for his barber's chair. His lawyer Melvin S. Goldsman said: "David is just so pleased to have the matter behind him."
