Katie Price to splash out on pink jet

Katie Price is in the process of buying her own plane, according to a report.

The model is spending £4.5million on a Hawker 900 to help her family commute between London, Australia and Cyprus.

She plans to personalise the jet, nicknamed "bmi Booby" after budget airline bmi Baby, with a pink paint job and pink upholstery.

She is also thinking about hiring it out to cover some of the expense, reports The Sun.

Price began considering a jet after realising that flying herself, husband Peter Andre and their three children and nannies to their home in Cyprus - as well as Andre's native Australia - would cost more than £150,000 this year.

A source said: “She has three round trips planned to Australia. The cost of taking the family abroad this year looked ridiculous.”

The insider added that Price may even take the wheel, saying: “When she gets the jet she intends taking flying lessons.”

She recently revealed that she would like four more children in the next 20 years.
