Deeley: 'American TV is too perfect'

Cat Deeley has revealed that she finds US television too "perfect".

The presenter, who hosts talent search So You Think You Can Dance, said there was no personality in shows across the pond.

She is quoted by the The Mirror as saying: "It all looks a bit Stepford over here. It's very professional, but it's as though the personality has been taken away from it.

"Everything is so perfect. I don't host a show and go, 'Have you got my best angle?'"

She added that viewers comment on her looks in the US, which was a rare occurrence during her career in the UK.

She said: "Here, kids say, 'Oh, she should get her nose straightened.'"

Deeley recently claimed that British men are too intimidated to chat her up.
