Lewis: 'Jamelia must be insecure'
Leona Lewis has put Jamelia's criticism of her down to the R'n'B star's insecurity about her own career.

Jamelia branded Lewis a "poor man's Mariah Carey" in a tabloid interview last year, before predicting that she would "fade into obscurity eventually".

However, Lewis blamed the comments on her fellow singer's own fears, saying: "If people are being horrible to you, it stems from their own insecurities. Jamelia said some nasty things about me, which hurt as I've never met her.

"I don't know if she definitely said it, but if she did it's sad. Us girls should support each other. I still think she's good and I wouldn't say anything bad about her."

Lewis will debut new double A-side single 'Better In Time' / 'Footprints In The Sand' during next week's semi-final of Dancing On Ice.
