Katona 'wants TV DNA test for father'

Kerry Katona has requested that a man claiming to be her dad takes a DNA test on her new TV show, say reports.

The reality TV star offered John Dowd, 50, the chance to prove he is her real father by appearing on Kerry Katona: Crazy In Love, claims The Sun.

Dowd claimed he was sent an email by Katona's production company asking him to appear on the programme.

North One TV boss Tina Flintoff is quoted as saying: "Kerry would like to do a DNA test with you. However, because we are filming the whole time we would like to capture this on camera."

Speaking about the offer, Dowd said: "It’s like blackmail, it’s unbelievable. They’re basically saying, 'If you don’t do it on TV, then she won’t do it'."
