Swayze 'doing well' after chemotherapy

Patrick Swayze is recovering well after undergoing a third round of chemotherapy, his spokeswoman has said.

The actor, who was revealed to be battling pancreatic cancer last week, is recuperating at his California home with wife Lisa Niemi.

Annett Wolf revealed that he was "doing well" following his latest treatment, saying: "Patrick is currently undergoing chemotherapy - not radiation - and he has not lost his hair. We are doing everything we can, and Patrick is doing well under the circumstances."

Swayze, who once admitted to smoking three packets of cigarettes a day, has been told to kick the habit to maximise his chances of recovery.

Friends have continued to speak out to support the Dirty Dancing actor in his battle against the disease.

The Daily Telegraph quotes co-star Jennifer Grey as saying: "It is so sad. If I saw him on the streets today, I'd throw my arms around him and love him up."
