Hartnett splits with Helena Christensen

Josh Hartnett and Helena Christensen have reportedly ended their relationship.

Friends claim the pair, who were first spotted together at last July's T in the Park festival, parted company "within the last week".

According to the New York Daily News, they have not been spotted in public together since shopping for furniture in New York in mid-February.

A source said: "They have always been really good friends and the split was a mutual decision. They both felt their relationship had just come to a natural end, and have promised to stay friends."

The couple were pals for several years before beginning their relationship, with the Danish supermodel even trying to set Hartnett up with actress Rosario Dawson.

However, he said he would prefer to date her and they subsequently became an item.

The actor was recently rumoured to be dating Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle.
