Simpson denies luxury Kuwait troops trip

Jessica Simpson had denied that she is enjoying luxury treatment while visiting US troops in Kuwait.

The singer was reported to have flown around in private jets, enjoyed private accommodation and kept her regular large entourage of stylists and staff.

However, Simpson has denied the claims, insisting that she is spending all her time alongside the army.

Simpson's spokesperson Cindi Berger told People: "She flew commercially, she is staying in the barracks. She's been with the troops all day. She's had her meals with them."

Berger added: "She has significantly scaled back her entourage."

The Dukes of Hazzard star is visiting the Middle East to entertain soldiers who are awaiting deployment in Iraq.
