Mel B 'desperate' for another baby

Mel B is "desperate" to have a baby with husband Stephen Belafonte, according to a report.

The 32-year-old has wanted to get pregnant since her wedding last summer but had to wait until the end of the Spice Girls reunion tour.

A source told Closer: "Mel is desperate to have another child. She has been broody since she married Stephen in Las Vegas last June. But she wasn't able to start trying for a baby because of the tour."

The insider added that Mel is now ready to conceive, saying: "She loves Stephen and her career is finally taking off in the States. She feels like it is the right time for a child."

The singer has daughter Phoenix Chi, nine, with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar and 11-month-old Angel Iris with Eddie Murphy.

Max Beesley recently claimed that dating her damaged his career "100%".
