Ronson dismisses Suri DJ rumours

Mark Ronson has dismissed rumours that he was asked to DJ at Suri Cruise's second birthday party.

It was claimed that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wanted him to provide the music at the bash after he acted as the official DJ at their wedding.

However, he accused the press of inventing the story, saying: "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard... I DJ'd Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's wedding and I guess somebody just thought it would be a funny story to make up.

"Could you imagine the inappropriateness of really loud music at a two-year-old's birthday party? It's just unbelievable."

The Brit Award-winning producer said he would refuse the invitation even if he was asked, adding: "I haven't been DJing bar-mitzvahs or weddings or birthdays lately."
