Fan pays £20,000 for Johansson date

A UK bidder has splashed out nearly £20,000 for a date with Scarlett Johansson.

The prize was auctioned on eBay earlier this month, with all proceeds going to Oxfam America.

Winning bidder 'bossnour' and a friend will ride in a chauffeur-driven car to the premiere of He’s Just Not That Into You in either LA or New York next summer.

The actress will give her date a hand-written note after the screening.

'Bossnour' beat 170 other bidders to land the prize, which also includes a hair cut and makeover.

A US fan paid £4,570 to accompany Colin Firth at the London premiere of his new film Mamma Mia in July as part of the initiative by eBay and Oxfam.

The winner and a friend will also have the opportunity to mingle with stars at the after-party.
