Ashlee: 'Nose job didn't make me prettier'

Ashlee Simpson has claimed that she does not feel any prettier since her nose job.

The singer underwent a rhinoplasty to correct a bump in her nose in 2006 but said she does not believe it has improved her looks.

Talking about her reasons for going under the knife, she told Us Weekly: "I used to look at a beautiful girl on the cover of a magazine and think I could never be that.

"[Surgery] is something that everybody should think about for a really long time. Once you know it's something you really feel comfortable with, then to each their own.

"I was never really unhappy with how I looked, and I don't think I am more beautiful than I was before. I just see the same old goofy girl I see every day."

The 23-year-old has denied rumours that she was drunk on a radio breakfast show last week.
