Bunton didn't rush to lose baby weight
Emma Bunton has revealed that she felt "no pressure" to lose weight after giving birth to her first child last year.

The singer went on tour with her fellow Spice Girls just four months after she welcomed the arrival of baby Beau in August.

Though she is now back to a size ten, Emma has insisted that her figure is the result of a sensible and slow healthy eating plan, rather than a fad diet or a punishing exercise schedule.

"It takes a while to lose the baby weight, but I didn't feel I had to starve myself," Emma told the News of the World. "And obviously, going straight on tour hurried things along a bit!"

"I didn't feel any great pressure," she continued. "I breastfed for four months, which helped. I did everything in moderation. I went to the gym three times a week, not seven - being stuck on a running machine for hours on end is so dull.

"I wanted to do everything naturally without going on a strict diet. I made sure I got the right nutrients, just in smaller portions. If I felt hungry I snacked on fruit."

Bunton was recently caught flouting the smoking ban at a London nightclub.
