Lutfi agrees to stay away from Spears

Britney Spears's former manager Sam Lutfi has agreed to a 30-day extension to the restraining order issued against him.

He and the singer's dad Jamie were scheduled to attend a court hearing to discuss the order this afternoon.

Lufti is forbidden from coming within 250 yards of Spears, her homes and her family homes under the existing ban, which was due to expire today.

His spokesman Michael Sands said: "There is an agreement between Sam Lutfi and the conservatorship for the next 30 days. Both parties are happy and will continue to work together to further resolve any issues that may have come up in the past."

Spears's parents applied for a temporary restraining order against Lutfi at the beginning of February, but it was not served until three weeks later.

Jamie has been granted co-conservatorship of his daughter's estate until 31 July.
