Berry gives birth to baby girl

Actress Halle Berry has given birth to a baby girl.

Oscar winner Berry had her first child last night with partner Gabriel Aubry. The couple met while shooting a commercial for Versace in Los Angeles in 2005.

Berry announced her pregnancy last September in an email to a US TV show.

In an interview with InStyle magazine during the pregnancy, Berry said: "Right now I just have so much joy and energy. I can just go and go and go."

Berry revealed last October that she and boyfriend Aubry want to have a second child as soon as possible.

"There's just one baby at the moment, but we're hoping, straight after this one, to do it again!" the X-Men star said.
