The series, which airs in this country next month, has been a hit in the US and was recently granted a second season.
She said: "I'm so nervous, all the big billboards have started to go up [in the UK] so I'm hoping they like it. It's very important for me that the Brits like it."
The show stars Lee Pace as Ned, a piemaker who can bring bodies back to life by touching them. He revives his childhood sweetheart Charlotte "Chuck" Charles (Friel) after she is murdered on a cruise.
The actress said she was happy in LA after moving with her family two years ago, commenting: "I'm really settled here now. I went back [to Britain] for two weeks about three weeks ago for the first time in ages. It was lovely, but it's really nice to come back."
She recently revealed that she was tired of being known as a soap actress and party girl in the UK.
Pushing Daisies airs on ITV in April.
