Sugababe: 'I was comforted by Take That'

Sugababe Amelle Berrabah has claimed that she was comforted by Take That after her boyfriend was attacked at Christmas.

The popstar's lover Freddie Fuller was hit with a machete at the Queen Victoria pub in Aldershot on Christmas Eve.

However, she revealed that Take That, and in particular Jason Orange, helped her get over the ordeal while she was preparing to play with the boyband at London's O2 arena on New Year's Eve.

She told the Daily Star: "Over that period we had to do a show on New Year’s Eve with Take That. I was really nervous and had loads of stuff going around in my head.

"But Take That are such a lovely bunch of fellas and we had a really nice chat. Jason, bless him, was asking about Freddie and sent his love. They were so supportive.

"After the show I went straight over to see Freddie and told him all about it."
