Halle Berry names daughter Nahla

Halle Berry has named her baby daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry.

The Oscar-winning actress gave birth to her first child with male model Gabriel Aubry on Sunday night.

She told Access Hollywood: "We didn't have a name picked out until just before we left the hospital. For us it was hard to name the most important person in our life until we met her."

Berry met her partner while shooting an advertisement for Versace in Los Angeles in 2005. She has said they are fully committed to each other, but have no plans to marry.

She revealed last October that they would like to have another baby as soon as possible.
