Cattrall reveals bad 'SATC' memories

Sex And The City star Kim Cattrall has revealed that she has bad memories of the end of the TV show.

The actress said she was happy to reprise her role as Samantha Jones in the upcoming movie after she was beset by personal problems at the close of the series in 2004.

She told In Touch: "The show was coming to an end, my dad was diagnosed with dementia and I was going through a divorce."

However, she explained that her life had improved in the intervening years, saying: "I'm in a fantastic place. I have a wonderful boyfriend and I had so much fun. We had an amazing time together."

She added: "After being away for so much time, I was really longing to play Samantha again."

The movie will be released in May and a sequel is reportedly in the works.
