Mills refuses to carry her own cash

A train steward compared Heather Mills to the Queen after she admitted that she does not carry her own cash.

The former model and charity campaigner made her confession as she travelled on a train to Kent after the first day of her divorce battle with Paul McCartney.

An onlooker told The Mirror: "She went to buy refreshments and the steward made some joke about charging her double because of the money she was to get. Heather said she did not carry money and turned to her entourage. The steward joked: 'Oh, just like the Queen'."

A source added: "She has a close-knit team around her at all times who are committed to her... including, seemingly, carrying her money as well."

Mills was awarded £24.3 million of McCartney's fortune at a High Court hearing on Monday.
