Katona's husband to take lie detector test

Kerry Katona has told her husband Mark Croft that he must take a lie detector test to prove he has not cheated on her.

Earlier this month, Croft publicly denied tabloid claims that he had been unfaithful with 29-year-old Samantha Riaz after meeting her at a club in July.

It was not the first time that Mark had been accused of cheating. Last summer, Kerry kicked him out after it was claimed that he slept with ex-girlfriend Clare Bonello, 24, just a few days after he proposed to the former Atomic Kitten star.

Kerry's marriage hit the rocks again this week after she found a text message from a mystery woman on Mark's mobile phone, which read: "I love you." Katona became so depressed over her discovery that she decided to check into The Priory clinic.

"Mark has told Kerry the women are lying but she doesn't trust him," a source told the News of the World. "She has told him if he doesn't take the test it is over between them and if it proves he is a liar she will divorce him...and probably rip his head off."

Sources have confirmed that Kerry has no intention of allowing the test to be filmed for her MTV reality show.
