Tara: 'I may have child with gay friend'

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has claimed that she has considered having children with one of her gay friends.

The socialite said that she would love to have a baby in the "traditional way", but admitted that she would consider other methods if she can't find the right man.

She told Hello!: "I'm hoping there's a man out there who will have a child with me the traditional way.

"Although I'm not opposed to IVF or having a child with a gay friend, I live in hope of it happening in a conventional way first."

Palmer-Tomkinson added: "I have life experience and a fair bit of wisdom for my age. It would be a terrible waste if I didn't become a mum.

"It's the most important thing that can happen to a woman - it's one of the reasons we're here."
